Mary Jo Romano established Wedding Designs by MariJo, Ltd. about
five years ago and has been involved with numerous weddings in the Western Pennsylvania area and in St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands.
Prior to her founding "Wedding Designs", she
worked as a Systems Analyst for many years. Her degrees are from the University
of Pittsburgh.
After planning her own wedding (while employed full time), she
realized how stressful and demanding the preparations are for an event that
should be happy and fun. Good friends and family could offer only non-objective
advice and assistance, but this too detracted from their pleasant time. And some
important details were overlooked.
Mary Jo wanted to relieve other brides from this sort of stress
and decided to parlay an avocational interest into a full-time career. By
becoming a Professional Bridal Consultant, her membership in the Association
of Bridal Consultants (ABC) affords her the advantage of continuing education
courses and seminars, current updates on the latest wedding trends, and
networking with other Bridal Consultant members.
As a professional Bridal Consultant she finds great satisfaction
and gratification in providing an important service and help to the
bride-to-be.
Mary Jo really is delighted to see still another bride walk down
the aisle to her eager groom !
