Mary Jo Romano established Wedding Designs by MariJo, Ltd. ten years ago and has been involved with numerous weddings in the Western Pennsylvania area and in St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands.

Prior to her founding "Wedding Designs", she worked as a Systems Analyst for many years. Her degrees are from the University of Pittsburgh.

After planning her own wedding (while employed full time), she realized how stressful and demanding the preparations are for an event that should be happy and fun. 

Mary Jo wanted to relieve other brides from this sort of stress and decided to parlay an avocational interest into a full-time career. By becoming a Professional Bridal Consultant with the Association of Bridal Consultants, she finds great satisfaction and gratification in providing an important service and giving help to the bride-to-be, her fiancé and families.

Mary Jo still gets misty eyed to see another bride walk down the aisle to her eager groom !
